Damien Ferlazzo is a Melbourne based consultant providing Revit training & support to small business.
Damien has been working in the architecture and design industry for over 12 years. During this time, he has worked on a wide range of projects spanning residential, commercial, education & aged care sectors. He has held a number of roles as a documenter in AutoCAD & Revit software, CAD & BIM Management roles, Revit training leader & Design Manager.
He has been responsible for documentation leadership, office Revit implementation, I.T. management & staff training programs, software research & deployment, creation of office standards & guidance material as well as library content & management.
His extensive experience and varied roles & responsibilities have provided him with a thorough understanding of quality documentation controls & staff expectations for on the job learning.
He has a passion for teaching and professional training as well as a keen interest in software & technology. This passion & expertise has led him to the educational system where he is currently teaching at RMIT University in the School of Architecture & Design.
Damien is a Revit Architecture Certified Professional and a regular attendee of local industry events keeping up with industry trends, technology and processes. An active participant in forums such as Autodesk Community Forum, LinkedIn Revit Users Group & Revit Forum as well as writing his blog, ‘Revit Link’ where he enjoys sharing his thoughts & discoveries on all things Revit.
